Tips for photographing children:
- Always plan before you shoot. Have in mind a clear picture of what
you’re trying to get in the final prints.
- Expect the unexpected. If something unusual happen be ready to
shoot it.
- Always keep the clothing simpler. Frills, stripes and large prints
would be too much.
- For babies use little clothing.
- Have the child’s head in direction opposite to the body.
-Don’t take photos with both shoulders parallel.
-A smile is all right but not always advisable as it might cut down
the value of the eye.
-Try different angels. try to shoot from a low angel and shoot
upward or from slightly high angle and shoot downward.
